Parking at the P-Koskikeskus parking facility
If you arrive by car, you can leave your vehicle at P-Koskikeskus, a heated parking facility. The facility is accessed from Suvantokatu. There is a fee charged for parking at P-Koskikeskus.
Three disabled-parking spaces are available, free of charge, on Suvantokatu.
You do not need a ticket or receipt to park at P-Koskikeskus. The system uses automated number plate recognition when you enter the parking facility. You can choose from two payment options: Moovy app or payment machine.
Koskikeskus supports the easy-to-use Moovy parking app. If you have the app installed, you can simply enter and leave without stopping at the payment machines. The parking fee is charged later to the credit or debit card you have connected with the app. You can use Moovy for most car parks and on-street parking spaces in Tampere. The app can be downloaded from Apple's App Store and Google Play.
Payment points
If you have not downloaded the Moovy app, you can pay for your parking by debit or credit card at a payment machine after your visit. Our new blue payment machines are situated where the traditional check-outs used to be.
To start the transaction, type in your vehicle's number plate. When payment has been completed, the gate opens automatically as you approach it. If you need a receipt for the parking fee, please choose that option when paying with payment machine. The receipt can be sent directly to your email.
Charging points for electric cars
The parking facility has four chargers for electric vehicles. You will find Plugit charging points by making a right turn after the entrance and following the signs. Helen rapid EV chargers are located near the exit.
The chargers are intended for hybrid and fully electric cars.
Helen's charging point uses a Tritium Veefil 50 kW rapid charger that is connected to the Virta network. An up-to-date price list can be viewed via the Virta app.
